· Listed Only! If you now are looking for a room to rent, you will need to List your search
for free and deactivate the old account
· Subscriber! If you now are looking for a flatmate, you will need to List your search
for free and call us at 001- 800-877-2557 Monday-Friday 2PM-11PM GMT
to transfer the remaining balance on your account and make you a subscriber

6. WHEN I LISTED/SUBSCRIBED I HAD A ROOM FOR RENT, NOW I NEED A FLATSHARE.
HOW CAN I LOOK AT ROOMS FOR RENT?

· Listed Only! If you now are looking for a flatshare, you will need to List your search

7. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE APPOINTMENT ORGANIZER?
· The appointment organizer helps you keep track of notes and appointments accessible
directly from your member page
· Once you set up an appointment, a call back or just a "to do task" on a given date, you
will be reminded of what you have to do on that day by email
· Keeping notes on a specific listing should help you find a match faster



8. I FORGOT MY LOG IN INFORMATION. HELP…
· Go to our home page (uk.easyroommate.com) and under the login information there is
a link for Forgot password ?
· Please fill out the form to receive your User ID & Password
· You can also contact our Customer Service. A real person will always be ready to help
you out.

9. CAN I DELETE MY LISTING OR SUBSCRIPTION?
· Yes, you can log on to our web site with your User ID & Password
· On your member page below "You placed an ad on…. select on "Remove Ad"
· A pop up window will appear under the heading "Select the option that suits you"
· Select Deactivate Listing Only or Deactivate Listing and Subscription

10. SOMEONE CONTACTED ME, WHY CAN'T I SEE HIS/HER PROFILE?
· Many people do not list, they prefer to subscribe because they do not want to be contacted

11. HOW CAN I MAXIMIZE MY CHANCE IN FINDING A SUITABLE MATCH?
· Give yourself plenty of time to find a flatmate
· Persistence is a plus
· Return all messages and use the appointment organizer to manage your time
· Contact all possible matches
· Submit your application with 2 or more ways for others to contact you

12. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FIND A FLATMATE?
· The amount of time depends on the personalities of both parties
· Hear it from our clients by reading their testimonials

13. DOES EASYROOMMATE HAVE A REFUND POLICY?
You may cancel your EasyRoommate membership at any time: Log into your account,
select the Deactivate my membership link on your member page. Because we provide
you with the opportunity to preview all content on the site at no cost and only require
payment when you wish to contact other members, we do not offer refunds of purchased
time. However, if you haven’t found a room or a roommate within the time frame allowed
by your registration, we would gladly renew your membership at a 50% discount (subject to changes.)

1. WHICH EMAIL FORMAT SHOULD I CHOOSE?
· America Online users, or if you are not sure - select plain text format
· Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator, and other web-based email services
such as Yahoo and Hotmail - Select HTML format

2. I CAN NOT READ THE EMAIL YOU SENT ME. IS SOMETHING WRONG?
· If the emails you are receiving are garbled up, you may have selected HTML as your
email format. You will need to change your email format to plain text
· Login to our web site with your User ID & Password. On your member page under
Access Ad select on "Search Filters". A pop up box will appear scroll down to
"Notification" next to "Your email format" select "Plain Text". On the right hand
side select on "Save Changes"

3. DO I NEED AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO USE EASYROOMMATE?
· No, you do not need an email address, but to maximize your chances of finding
a flatmate and to benefit from our service, you may want to get an email account
· There are many search engines who offer free email accounts

4. CAN I BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL OF NEW MATCHES?
· Yes, we can notify you automatically by email. JUST MAKE SURE TO SELECT
THIS OPTION WHEN YOU ARE LISTING OR SUBSCRIBING.
· Or you can access the site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with your User ID and Password and select that
option in the search filters on your member page

5. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH MATCHING RESULTS. I CAN'T CLICK ON THE LINK?
HOW CAN I CONTACT THESE PEOPLE?

· If you are AOL you may want to update your browser
· In the meantime visit your member page
· The matches you received will appear in your matching results
